Devin has been working with Dakota, our Norwegian Elkhound for six months. He has major anxiety. She has worked with him every week and it has made such a big difference with his anxiety. We were so lucky to have met Devin after bringing home our 8 week old puppy. She has been working with us since day one and is extremely knowledgeable, reliable and responsive. As a dog owner, it’s always hard to decide not only who you can trust with your dog but, who can actually make that connection and understand what obstacles they have and how to overcome them. As an owner of several Great Danes, it has always been very important for me to have my dogs well trained and socialized. Meeting Devin and watching her with not only my dog but dogs of all different breeds and sizes, it was evident that she loves what she does, but is also able to make those connections and address any problem that each person had. Devin not only helps to fix the problem but explains the dog psychology behind the issue to better help you as the owner understand how you could be unconsciously adding to the problem. I have used Devin for several different one on one trainings with most recently being ECollar training. Aside from her helping with socializing and public service training, she was able to fix my biggest problem which was recall. In one hour she was able to get my dogs recall issue fixed, and with a few follow ups, he is now always off leash and lives a completely different life because of her. With all of her assistance and training, my dog is now close to being certified as a service dog and goes everywhere with me. I am always complimented as to how well trained he is. I would highly recommend Devin for any services she provides as she is a true professional and makes progress with every session. The pack walks she organizes have been a huge part of my dogs socialization. They have allowed me to meet several other dog owners who all struggle in similar areas and to also see that we are not alone in our frustrations. These walks also showed me that each time we met in groups, that all dogs were progressing together as we shared in Devin’s praises. Her pack walks have also raised money for other groups and shelters which showed me that Devin was also a true servant in this profession and gained my respect that much more.

Devin’s pack has been life changing for myself, my partner and our bull terrier, Stewie. I called her in desperation after Stewie exhibited reactivity and extreme stubbornness on a daily basis. I was no longer enjoying our time together on walks and in our home, and I felt defeated, anxious and overwhelmed. She immediately reached out and arrived at our home, with a smile and gentle demeanor that got us through some dark days. She has helped us learn to better respond to his personality and needs. She has taught us to be confident dog owners, has assisted Stewie to become the dog we love so dearly, and we have another trusting adult that we can rely on when needed. I started using Devin's services to help me train my two boxers. Each of my dogs have their own set of "bad habits or misbehaviors" both inside our home or outside the home in other environments. I love that she can come out to our home and train our pets in the environment they live in. Devin's knowledge of animal behavior didn't just help her come up with a resolution to fix the problems but she also incorporated sharing that knowledge with me during each session. Every training I feel like I understand my dog's behavior better and now I can see the training techniques working. She is also both my dog's caretaker when we travel. I am always at ease when I leave them knowing they are being loved and cared for by her.

Having Devin train my puppy has been nothing but a pleasure. Not only is she patient, kind and understanding toward my dog but she’s an incredible support to myself and my husband. The time and effort that Devin puts into each session truly shows. When we are in a session with her, it feels like nothing else in the worlds exists besides my family and my dog. She has helped us with Lincoln even when he was at his most playful/silliest. Devin continually gives us tools to practice with him to keep the training alive until the next visit. She is always available by text and I always appreciate her communication. My husband and I took our first trip this year and left Lincoln with Devin for 3 days and 2 nights. Each day, multiple times a day Devin would send me updates and pictures of Lincoln. I never had to wonder how he was doing or what he was doing because she always made sure to keep us in the loop without us even asking. Lincoln came home fully trained and above all… happy. Knowing he was safe and loved made the vacation much more enjoyable. We would recommend Devin to ANYONE, she is truly something special. We found ​​Devin through a friend recommending her, and we are so glad we did! Devin is very knowledgeable about animals, and really understands how to build a relationship between the owner and dogs that focuses around calmness, trust, and really mastering the basics. She has taught us SO much in such a short amount of time, but teaches us in a way where we don't feel overwhelmed, but motivated to keep going and learning more. She has taken my fear of never being able to manage my dogs in our home, to really seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and seeing how possible it is and how bad my dogs WANT to train/learn. Devin is a fantastic trainer for both you and your dog! She has the rare capability of being able to intuitively understand a dog's behavior and to explain it clearly and patiently to you. She is creative and a strong problem solver. She listens to your situation and needs, and she can quickly adapt to meet you "where you're at". I highly recommend Devin DiBerto as a dog trainer/sitter. She is patient, persistent and uses methods that are effective in training but also kind hearted. I'm comfortable letting her take my puppy for training and sitting and know I can rely on her to make sure she is cared for in my absence.

She is calm, confident and very seasoned about the needs of your dogs and What the dogs should expect from the owners. Devin has worked with three of my family dogs since they were puppies and my older boy, who absolutely adores her when she comes over. She will challenge your dog to feel comfortable and confident in all environments and will pass along all that institutional knowledge to you and your family. I could not think of another trainer I would want to work with my dogs, they respond and learn from Devin and she treats them like they are her own, plus she is very punctual, and you can coordinate your schedule accordingly. I have known Devin for over 10 years. She is a responsible and caring professional who is not only passionate about dogs but passionate about helping others create incredible relationships with their dogs. She has helped is train all three of my boxers including: basic puppy training, drills to help with leash pulling, strategies to help build confidence, effective methods to stimulate an extremely high-energy puppy, and hands on training to address food guarding between our two males, which was something that came out of nowhere and was more challenging than anything we have ever experienced with any of our dogs. She has taught us how to effectively communicate with our dogs and how to create an calm environment which has resulted in a more well-behaved dog. We have done both group work as well as individual sessions to address specific concerns and they are always upbeat, organized, and productive. During and after these sessions, she is excellent in following up to see how we felt about the session, pointing out key successes, and providing suggestions and training material for consideration and practice.
